Connie Lawrence

Connie Lawrence is the CEO/General Manager of the Keystone Centre, one of Manitoba’s largest muti-purpose event facilities. Since joining the organization in 2014, Connie has provided strategic and operational leadership for the 540,000-square-foot facility, which hosts a diverse range of local, national and international events that contribute significantly and plays an important role in the Brandon and Westman economy.

With an extensive background in events, management, hospitality, sales and customer service, Connie also brings 13 years of entrepreneurial experience from owning and operating her own business. Her experience in financial management, capital projects, community development and business relationships has shaped her practical and people-focused approach to leadership.

Connie has developed a deep passion for the Keystone Centre and the community it serves. She is committed to building relationships, creating opportunities, promoting Brandon and Westman, and continually finding ways to move the organization forward.

A strong, goal-oriented and community-minded leader, Connie believes in the power of a dedicated team and works alongside her management team to create positive experiences and meaningful impact.

Connie serves on the Manitoba Tourism Board, representing Brandon and Westman, as well as the subcommittee for the Premier’s Business and Jobs Committee on Tourism and the Brandon First Board. She is also a proud mother and grandmother who believes in staying curious, embracing change and always looking for ways to make a difference.
